I was 137 kg. I did not feel like myself.
Everything was harder than it should have been. Sitting. Standing. Eating. Walking. Always sweating. Always in discomfort. I felt trapped in a body that did not match who I wanted to be.
When I was 21, I visited my family in the Philippines. They saw me as this overweight guy who looked out of place. It was painful to feel judged. I could not enjoy anything. My feet hurt. My back hurt. I was always tired.
"Two weeks into the trip, we were on a beach in Boracay. We finished dinner and went for a sunset walk. It should have been perfect, but my feet were in agony."
Later I learned they were bleeding from the pressure of my weight.
I kept going for another 10 or 15 minutes. The pain got worse. I made an excuse and asked everyone to turn back. I ruined the moment. That walk was supposed to be a memory. Instead, it was a wake up call.
I was embarrassed. Angry. Done feeling helpless.
That is when my mindset shifted. I promised myself I would change.
It took time. No quick fixes. No 6-week transformations that disappear. I learned how to train the right way. I learned how to eat without stress. I learned consistency over perfection - small sustainable changes that became my lifestyle.
Stretch marks showed up during that process. They were bright red at first and looked awful. I felt more self conscious than ever. Then they faded. They stayed. Now they remind me of how far I have come.
Nobody is perfect. We all carry scars. Mine show my progress.
I lost the weight. I built strength. I rebuilt confidence.
Now I help others do the exact same. You do not have to do any of this alone.
The care and attention I give keeps people coming back. That is the standard I hold myself to.
